Unless there are special circumstances (such as if someone married two people), people only have 1 family.

There are 4 people in my family.

* I hardly go shopping. x
If you want to say you don’t do something very often, you use hardly ever.

I hardly ever go shopping.

* Almost the people at the party had fun. x
Almost is a modifier, it has to be almost something.

Almost all the people at the party had fun.
Almost all of the tourists were Japanese.

* I almost watch TV after dinner. x
Almost is modifying time here.

I almost always watch TV after dinner.

* Congraturations x
Japanese speakers make mistakes with l and r all the time. The sounds are difficult to tell apart and students often spell things wrong.

Congratulations.
