Studying a language takes a lot of work.  There’s a big difference between being able to read an example in a textbook and joining in a conversation with a couple of native speakers.

I taught English in Japan for 4 years andI saw lots of students who made the same mistakes.  I’ve studied Japanese myself, so I know some of the things that Japanese speakers find difficult when they’re learning English.
