Sydney
I’ve been really busy lately, so I didn’t get around to updating the blog.
A couple of weeks ago I went up to the Sydney for a long weekend. One of my short stories was nominated for a science fiction award and the ceremony was in Sydney. I didn’t win the award, but it was really nice to be nominated and I had a fun weekend visiting my friends.
I have also been organising my plans for my next big vacation. At the end of next week I’m going overseas for 2 months. I’ll be visiting Osaka for a few days and then going on to the Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Israel) and South America (Colombia, Peru and Chile). I had wanted to visit Syria as well, but the political situation there means it is not safe to visit at the moment. I’m looking forward to visiting lots of new places, including stopping at Easter Island on the way home.

Thanks Moko.
Your work was nominated. How wonderful! You must be talented. I hope that it will be broadcast in Japan.
Hi Yuko.
Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for your comments.
I didn’t win the award, but it was nice to go to the ceremony.
This is not the story that was nominated, but it is one of my favorite stories and is online.
