Echidnas
Australia is famous for its animals. Koalas and kangaroos are especially popular with tourists.
Less well-known are echidnas. I’ve never seen an echidna in the wild (only in zoos), but recently an echidna has been visiting my brother’s garden.
They are marsupials (animals with pouches) like kangaroos and echidnas. They also have spikes like a porcupine.
