Vacation

This weekend I’m going on vacation for a month.

I’m spending 2 weeks in Japan.  I’ll be visiting friends in Osaka and Tokyo and also visiting a couple of places I haven’t been in Japan: Takayama and Nagasaki.

I bought myself a Japan Rail pass to travel around.

I hardly spoken any Japanese in the last year, so hopefully I will still be able to speak enough to get by.

After Japan I’ll go to Beijing for a couple of days, then I join a tour that goes to North Korea.  I’ve been to South Korea before, but North Korea will be one of the most interesting and different places I’ve been.  The only way most people can visit is to go in on a guided tour, where you have to follow the guides around all of the time.

I’ve scheduled articles while I’m away, but I won’t be checking the comments as frequently.
