    Hi, Aidan
    Do you remember me? (I hope..lol)

    Well, it’s an interesting article, isn’t it. As an English teacher, I’m intrigued in it. You might know, though, our education for English is also switching like China. To be honest, however, the government doesn’t realize what we need to learn when it comes to English…..
    There seems to be a long way to go…^^;

    Hi Rosily,

    Of course I remember you. :-)

    It’s very hard to direct a large -scale learning program because what people need and are interested in learning can be different for lots of people.

    Language learning in Australia doesn’t work very well. A lot of people aren’t motivated to learn other languages because it’s easier to get by with just English.

    But for people that don’t speak English, so much culture and information comes from English-speaking countries that there is a bigger incentive. And English is the international language of business and travel.

    Have fun,
    Aidan.
