I think compulsory voting is a good idea, because it makes people more interested in politics.  It also helps keep out extreme groups.

If voting isn&#039;t compulsory, then people who are more extreme (strange right-wing groups for example) have more of an influence because they are more likely to vote.

I&#039;m afarid that there are many adults who aren&#039;t interested in politics. I don&#039;t say &quot;Let&#039;s be an expert at politics.&quot;, but we should express opinions by going to vote.
