Bolivian Ninja School

In 2004 I stayed in La Paz in Bolivia.

I was working for a newspaper and I went and interviewed some of the instructors at a ninja school.

All of the instructors and students were Bolivian, but the chief instructor had lived in Japan and gone to a ninja school there.

The students were interested in Japanese culture and as well as studying martial arts, they learned calligraphy and grew bonsai.
